as for the friday night "season opener", its looking like its going to rain. if it rains i won't make the drive. but if it is dry i am down.

the only way i wont make it saturday is if i get pulled over again. i got stoped tonight for driving without plates. but i got a ticket for driving an un-registered vehicle! i had the title, bill of sale, and my old license plate in the car. i also had all the paper work that i filled out at the DMV, but since i am not 18 yet i couldnt finish registering my car when i was there yesterday(you need a parent signature and my parents didnt come with).the ticket was 167.00$ ouch! :x

You've got a grace period where the title acts as registration to give you time to get to the DMV. I'm not sure how long it is (2 days I'm thinkin), but yeah, I'd definitely take that to court.

When you're in court, just remember to be ready, KNOW the laws, where you found them, and talk smooooth. If you know, sound, and look like you know what you're doing, the judge won't want to waste his time with you. Chances are there will be 30 degenerate inbreds in the court room fighting seatbelt tickets and he'll be more than glad to deal with you if you are smart about it. Just an fyi.

thanks for the info, i plan on attending my court date. i bought the car on friday and tried to get it registered yesterday but that didnt work out. the cop was pretty nice, he said that he would have liked to not give me a ticket but " he had to". he wrote in the report that i had tried to register it that day and i had all the paper work with me. he said he cant give me any legal advice, he just strongly suggested i went to court. the worst part was he would not even let me drive my new car back to my house. i have to leave it sit until i get it registered.

Good day, bad weather but overall a good day. Nice group of people that came to the meet. I had a good time cruising around. i also liked seeing the VPT complex.
