That car looks and sounds... Well nevermind, that car is awesome all around.

I want to try and take the corkscrew turn at Laguna... Or ride with someone who can.

Nah. I want to keep this car as nice as possible. I don't even plan on drag racing it anymore, so brownbos are definitely out of the question. I'm pulling a VPT and taking a few seasons off.

Many driving schools provide cars at tracks like Laguna. If you get out there you could be on that track with instructor and their car for about $500.

I did sell my waverunner today so maybe I'll pick up a POS to beat on instead.

You should get one and get rid of that toyota! are you just stupid? it's the same thing but newer and a higher model. it's still an IS

The waverunner story is a strange one indeed. I figured I would list it on craigslist simply because its tax return time and its free. Within 10 minutes after listing it I started receiving calls. In less than 8 hours I had a multiple full price buyers. In less than 12 hours I had the cash in the bank and the waverunner was on its way to Merrill.

The guy that bought mine looked at it for 5 minutes and said sold. Didn't even put the battery in to check the hours. But I don't think you could find a better condition runner than the one I had. It was also the most sought after seadoo xp model.

A quick search on craigslist for waverunner and jetski returned no results so maybe I just slipped mine in before everyone else! Timing probably didn't hurt either. Almost everyone has spending money this time of year. Now I have an extra $5k in my pocket!

I called Extreme and suggested he list his as well.

I learned my lesson about watercraft. They fucking expensive to run. Mine was direct injected so it got excellent mileage when compared to carb units but it still sucked ass. Now I know why everyone parks their boats at the sand bar. They are too damn expensive to enjoy buzzing around. Furthermore the river is only fun to run a few times after that its boring as hell. Unless you are getting drunk off your ass the fun wears off quickly. I'm soo damn happy its gone.

I completely agree. I'd rather have an IS300 and a dedicated track car. There is no reason to buy something like the ISF. But it sure will be fun to test drive!

now you bring the motor into play. you need to figure out what your trying to say the first time around. so you don't need to change your view next time around.

you do realize the lincol ls has a 6cyl option as well, right?

Why else would a guy want a new lexus but the V8? Thought it was kind of obvious....

Yes they do, mustangs also have a 6 cylinder option. I think just about every car and truck made today has a 6 cylinder option.

What about the jaguar part?

devlish
02-12-2008, 09:01 PM
eh.. never was really impressed with the jaguar. my old boss had 2 or 3 of them... nice car i guess, nice interior, but overpriced if you asked me for what you got. however, the customer service was TOP NOTCH!!! there was a scratch in the wood grain steering wheel... so they flatbedded another Jag up from milwaukee, flatbedded hers down, replaced the steering wheel, and did the exchange via flatbed again. all over only a few days. talk about service!!
