I used to have an HKS and it did sound somewhat like a turkey...don't really know why...Maybe its cracked or something, Extreme said. I still have it if someone wants to look at it.

Last fall the Tial went in and it sounds awesome but sometimes I can still hear a little of the turkey call....Don't really know why....anyone have an idea?

How soon you forget, you bought the tial from me. Yes it authentic, its the rare discontinued color as well. I bought it from Albert(owner of DV/DT) http://dvdtfab.com/ so it used to be on one of the top ten fastest 2Gs.

No, I meant the HKS. I got the HKS from Extreme.
Of course I remember that I got the Tial from you. It's not like I buy that many parts that I can't remember.

I didn't buy any other MAS but that doesn't mean that the car didn't come with a different one when I bought it. So I'm just assuming it's stock.

I would definitely know if I bought something else.

You cannot recirculate a tial so it has to be venting. Last time I looked under your hood you had a stock MAS. Although I thought Matt had an extra GM MAF and translator sitting around, thought that might have found its way onto your car.

Funny the tial sounded exactly the same when we first put it in. I ran a couple bigger vacuum lines around and to the BOV and it took alot of the turkey away. I told Matt to find a bigger vacuum port and run a even bigger line to the BOV did he ever do that?

What is happening is your BOV isn't getting enough vacuum volume to open up the BOV in time and you are getting compressor surge (the turkey).

You need a bigger vacuum line off a bigger intake vacuum port.

I don't think he ever got a different line. I know that it started to sounding just like my HKS again and he saw that the line had come off and he reconnected it again, but that was it.
