The Dells Car Show???

Ok I'm ready for winter to be done with and one event i'm looking so forward to is the Car Show in the Dells. Do anyone know any info on when its going to be this year? I would like to book a hotel this year and stay the whole weekend so i figured i'd plan early. I'm hoping that i will have some fun new things for the tiburon before the show so at least it wont look plain. Plus i'm thinking about bringing down a crotch rocket. So let me know as soon as anyone knows any info. Thanks

2006 was crazy, burnouts like mad. I got a ticket(for doing a burnout after devlish) and collected funds from the crowd to help pay it off. The street was eventually closed off because of all the burnouts. People were drinking in the streets, some boobies even popped out. But last year, cops had flyers at the hotels warning of 500$ fines for burnouts so it was pretty calm. Just some street racing off of the main roads for late night entertainment. Always alot of cars though, and cops dont pull people over for loud exhaust. Which makes me think I should put my cut out to good use this year! :lol:

So its the 17th and 18th of may? That would be awesome. May 18th is my 23rd Birthday. Its one of the best events of the year. So much fun! I wonder if that Vett will be there like last year. Unfortunately most people choose to be in bed by 10pm and sleep on Saturday night. I never have figured that out. On a good Dells car show weekend I am up until I see the sun rise Sunday morning. Those are the most memorable times.

Its a car show and huge cruise. All sorts of car cruise after the show gets out. If you get a good hotel/motel you can sit and watch the car show drive by basically. Occasionally everyone that comes down likes to take a cruise of their own in whatever vehicle they have. Some stop light action may happen. There are a lot of cops but a lot of cars too! Late night street action can usually be found after dark or the bars, whichever you prefer.

Cheap, especially if you go in with someone else. share a room and it should be less than $50 a night. If you really want some excitement, get some .org guys to race the .com guys!

i booked two rooms, same spot as last year. 2 queens in each. $105 the first night, $55 the second night. so $160 + taxes = $180 / 4 = $45/night. and usually 2-3 on the floor will flip you a $10bill as well. i think last year there was about 5 on the floor and 3 on each bed!

but if you get a room without the great balcony view i got... it's only $80 the first night and $40 the 2nd night!!! WAY CHEAPER!

The show is all older cars, but the cruise is filled with everything. Like stated earlier, most people don't go for the show.

so TK shows up at the go kart track with the usual bunch of rowdy young girls that he hangs out with. you know the type, barely 18, bangin' bodies, lots of flesh showing, very suggestive clothing.

TK slips another hundred in the guys pocket and proceeds to the track. the manager tells the other customers it's now a private party for 30mins and get TK and his girls going on the track.

after a few minutes, tk is upset that the karts are not as fast as his Trans Am, or future Type RRRrrrrr. he makes a few rude comments to the track guy, but continues driving as fast as he can.

he is now slightly preturbed with this less than satisfactory gokart performance and starts his own fun by slamming the kart into the girls... a game of bumper cars if you will. at first the girls think its fun and join in. but then TK get's rough, he likes to play rough is what the girls used to say about him... and it's no longer a game for the girls, it's everyone for themselves! eventually, go karts are flying all over the track, girls clothes are blowing in the breeze, karts are hurling this way and that...

May 16th and 17th all day basically. The dells is usually filled with cool cars all day. But the official cruise usually starts after the car show gets done. Which im not really sure what time that is...5 maybe 6?

They advertise a car cruise, but there really isn't one. At 3pm or so when the cars start leaving the show you can watch all the nice rides cruise the strip.

We always plan ahead because we know that most of the rooms get booked that very weekend for the next year already. My brother actually waited until January and he called the Shamrock but they were completely booked so next was the Monaco and they had rooms available. Usually they are the ones that are booked so far in advance.

Ok so I'm interested in some of the possible activities but not interested in staying in the dells all weekend. I might have to work one of the days and Steph has to work Sat. Tk had mentioned something about a so called haunted house (or damn creepy house to explore), late night street races, those are the two main things I would be interested in. Not interested in crusing around getting tickets, and not interested in car shows.

all in all... it was a great weekend! some interesting pointers i picked up...

1. if you drive a car that looks like a cop car people will stop for you.

4. Pizza places close before 4am in the dells, even on carshow weekend
5. BJ's is DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM OUR HOTEL!

8. both the monaco and pink flamingo have hot tubs!

Apparnetly You can get kicked out of the bar for standing on the wrong side of the gate outside in the sandbox area. I got a chance to sit back with a a few street dominators. I don't know how anyone could see around the old stripper lady up there to even see me and TC. She was rather large and was making babies with the tree.
