anybody know how to lighten background of a vid??

i have a video that extreme and PDSM took of me flaggin a race and i want to actually see something because right now i can't see shit except for the car tail lights... can somebody help me with this?? if you wanna see the video here's the link to it...

If you have the original video file on your computer(or a copy for the nitpickers) you can use Microsoft MovieMaker(built into Windows XP) and just crank up the Gain/Brightness on the video. It won't look super detailed anymore but it will be brighter. You may want to adjust contrast to offset the brightness, too.
